About

Who We Are
and Why We Care

At Nova Gymnastics Academy, we believe gymnastics can be more than a sport. It can be a source of confidence, character, and connection. Founded by Michelle Pothier, Savanna Inman, and Shannon Bertin, Nova was created to challenge the status quo in gymnastics and to foster an environment where athletes of all ages and abilities feel supported, inspired, and empowered.

Our story began with a shared vision to create a space that values personal growth just as much as athletic achievement. With decades of combined experience in coaching, judging, competing, and community building, our founders came together with a clear purpose: to put the athlete first.

Michelle brings her decades of coaching and leadership, having shaped athletes at every level and earned deep respect across the gymnastics community. Savanna contributes her unique perspective as a former Level 10 gymnast and a passionate advocate for youth wellness. Shannon, a dedicated parent and community champion, saw the need for a club where families feel welcome and athletes are seen as whole people, not just performers.

At Nova, our programs are designed to grow with the athlete. Whether you're just beginning or working toward high-level goals, our coaches meet you where you are, nurturing skill, independence, and a love for movement. We emphasize mental wellness, inclusivity, and mentorship. These principles are deeply woven into every part of our culture.

Nova Gymnastics Academy isn’t just a place to train. It’s a place to thrive. We are proud to be building something different, a strong, supportive community where athletes can shine inside and out.
